Ash & Ann-Marie

This was such a sweet day that I had the chance to be a part of. The ceremony was hosted at the Off the Grid Organic Winery which overlooked Okanagan Lake. This was a special ceremony, as Ash is from New Zealand and Ann-Marie is from Canada. This was their Canadian ceremony, and they also had a later ceremony held in New Zealand. Obviously I had to try to shoot my shot at trying to capture their New Zealand ceremony as well ;) There was such a precious moment in the ceremony where the couple shared what is called a "Hongi" before their first kiss, which is a traditional Maori greeting shared between two people by pressing their noses/foreheads together.
