Melissa
Judah & Brooklyn
I met Brooklyn a couple years prior to her wedding, when she was Miss Penticton. She had asked me to do a portrait session of her and the two princesses, and ever since then I've had the privilege to capture so much of this beautiful girl's life. This wedding was absolutely timeless, from the florals, to the bridal colours, to the location. From the winding vines along the hill, to the view overlooking Okanagan Lake, it was the perfect day.
There were so many moments throughout this day that stood out to me, from getting ready and having those couple last moments with mom helping with touch ups, to the Father Daughter dance during the reception. Brooklyn and Judah decided to share a First Look which created so much time in their day to be able to spend with their guests. Brooklyn also had a first look with her dad which was just too precious. If I had to chose a favourite moment however, I would probably have to go with the grooms vows. During his vows, he decided to surprise the bride with a foot washing ceremony. There wasn't a dry eye, and it was so beautiful to see him honour his new bride.
